boardnetUSA connects nonprofit boards needing board members--and
individuals who wish to serve in these important leadership roles--across
boundaries of skill, ethnicity, age and geography. It is a unique,
free resource to meet the crisis gap (1.8 million nonprofit board
seats turn over each year nationally) in the number and diversity
of board candidates accessible to nonprofit organizations. To date
there are 1,800 boards and 9,000 candidates actively using the site,
with 904 documented board elections since the Fall of 2002.
