| Ms. Christina
Bostic joined the Volunteer Consulting Group in October of 2005
as Regional Program Associate/Site Coordinator. Her responsibilities
include overseeing all aspects of Customer Service on boardnetUSA,
as well as maintaining the functionality of the office by providing
staff support. Prior to joining VCG, Ms. Bostic was with the
American Red Cross 9/11 Recovery Program. During her three years
in ARC she worked with case workers assisting in case review
and providing financial and emotional support to those affected
by the 9/11 tragedy. Ultimately as the program began to sunset
she played a role in the formation of the Recovery Grants Program
working with Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors developing Policies
and Procedures, creating and maintaining tracking systems, and
overseeing the payment process of grants awarded to organizations
assisting those affected through the 9/11 tragedy.
Ms. Bostic has one child and lives in Queens. She is active
with her son's school and continues to support and volunteer
with Insight for the Family Inc., an organization committed
to producing healthy families.
